![]() ![]() I tried to change the settings in the VRC default settings in OVR but lots of OVR settings are missing, specifically playspace mover which I need for nausea. I would really like someone to help me with this, and would much appreciate any help you can offer. After opening VRC today my existing OVR custom bindings I have been using are no longer available to apply to the game. I need a solution to make this functional because a play space mover is much required in full body to so I can calibrate the avatar well and move around so I'm not floating everywhere. I don't understand why it doesn't work for me even though I got the same setting as someone else and it works. I have tried talking to people who use full body and they have not been able to help me, I have tried many things to try fix this like uninstalling everything, and reinstalling but nothing has seemed to work. Lets say I make my right hand drag to the A button (or use a community default that has A button set to that) all that will happen in vrchat is my avatar will jump and I will not be able to move my avatar up or down like I should. The current issue I'm getting is whatever I do to the binding nothing will work it will just use default binding from vrchat. So the problem is that I try to change my key binding for advanced setting so I can move my avatar in vrchat up down left right when using full body. I have followed many guides and tutorials that take me to the same location and it just ends up not working at all. It known as play space mover and for some strange reason it doesn't work for me. Touch Controllers Device ID is not neatly formatted in Device Issues. I thought of using the official OVRAS Discord, but it feels dead with unanswered questions from months ago.I currently having a problem with my binding as I'm trying to make myself be able to move in games like vrchat. Added option in Settings to Allow motion while in uncalibrated playspace note This is for the hybrid tracking/non-steamVR Users that have issues using Space Drag, Enabling should allow these users to use it without issue. And since I don't remember how I even set the bindings in SteamVR. So the only thing I can think of is to have a Reset Playspace button to hopefully fix that issue when it occurs. Second thing, I'm really getting tired when in full body (in VRChat), that occasionally my legs and tail are in the air when I move around (as in the floor bounds aren't being reset properly). Now I believe it's bound to the same Quickmenu button as VRChat uses, but I have this set up for all SteamVR games. ![]() The app will guide you through the process of setting up the Playspace Mover. Now You will Select The button you want to use for. Now For Space Drag that is in the 'Motion' action set, make sure you have that tab selected (it should be the default one). You should Now Have a Window similar to This open. Then, follow these steps: Put on your Oculus Quest 2 headset and launch the Playspace Mover app. The shortest way To get to the Menu is to hit the Bindings Button This is on the front page of OVR Advanced Settings. ![]() Infact it shows I'm using the default controller bindings. Setting Up the Mover: To set up the Playspace Mover, you need to first ensure that your Oculus Quest 2 is set up and working properly. I think it was to set up the bindings on the controllers, but I just took a look in SteamVR Dashboard (without putting the headset on) and I don't see anything pointing to this. I cannot remember how I had set up Playspace Mover for my Index. ![]()
